I really loved this app, and for me life of me I can’t get it to work anymore. What’s the deal?
Should have it for more comvinevce depending on where the user is, never know when they might need to turn their phone
Improved Recommended Users
When I look through my "recommended for you" users I'll often find people with 20 or so artists in common, bit I'll click on their profile and they'll have 3.4K cymbals, most of which I don't care about. On the other hand I'll find users with only 5 artists in common, but they've made 6 posts. I'm more interested in following the second user since their posts will be more things I like more often. What I want is a profile match percentage. For example, when I'm looking through "recommended for you" users, it will show me that 70% of a user's posts are artists I've posted. That way I can tell that they regularly post music I want to hear, rather than posting a song I actually like once a month. This is a feature I know I would get a lot of use out of as it's a common issue for me. Love the app! Thanks!
Only display one post per user at a time on feeds
Just my two cents: I liked the layout of the feed before this last update. I liked how it only showed one post per user at a time. That way you weren't flooded with posts from one person. I also have an account where I create cool designs with album art (@designage) and I post a lot at one time which messes with the feed. Can you at least provide an option to show one post per user at a time?
Search for cymbals that you've posted before
Have a search bar to find a specific cymbal that you've posted a while back. Just easier than Scrolling past hundreds of posts to find what you want. Take it into consideration! Thanks
Many users have hundreds or even thousands of songs posted. This means songs often get buried after a while and I get sick of hearing the most recent stuff if I've already heard it. Being able to hit shuffle (even if just on a users profile) would allow for me to constantly be hearing new tracks without having to scroll down for hours. Doing that often results in the app crashing and me back at square one. We all come here to discover otherwise we would just listen to our own playlists. This would be very helpful for that.
Major shortfalls on a premise with promise
There is no life event/experience engagement. Music is so much about the personal feeling and emotional connection but this app seems removed and sterile in it's implementation. It should be Reddit meets Spoify mixed with music focussed IG Stories. A place we can express, impress and connect in a live energetic sense around a shared love of artists and albums.
Sections for music
There should be sections for each genre of music and not make me follow artists I personally don't care for. There should be a sections for discovers, artists you may like and something similar to Spotify.
